Director Errol Morris' "The Fog of War" - a portrait of Robert McNamara, U.S. defense secretary for much of the Vietnam War - won the Oscar for feature-length documentary. Morris compared U.S. military action overseas today with the Vietnam era.
"Forty years ago, this country went down a rabbit hole in Vietnam - millions died," Morris said. "I fear we're going down the rabbit hole once again."

Back in December Bill Harris, the man in charge of planning the Republican convention in NYC this September, told 1010 WINS that no events will take place at Ground Zero.
Harris promised that the convention will not hold any official events at the trade center site, but notes that many delegates and other visitors will likely want to visit the area.
Now comes word from The Hill that
“Or, and this is a real possibility, we could see President Bush giving his acceptance speech at Ground Zero,” he added. “It’s clearly a venue they’re considering.”
