Ford sends the wrong message, no matter how they try to spin it.
Detroit. The Ford Motor Co. has decided to stop advertising its Jaguar and Land Rover brands in gay-themed publications. The official company position is that it was purely a business decision and that the company was not bowing to the wishes of the ultra-conservative American Family Association, a virulent, hate-fostering group based in Tupelo, Miss., led by the controversial Donald E. Wildmon - but that clearly isn't the case. (more)The whole sordid affair is on America Blog and so it their Ford action center (on the left sidebar).
