KISSINGER at NYU HECKELLED
Tonight war criminal and genocide practitioner, Henry Kissinger, was a speaker at NYU. I went along to join the small group of human rights activists outside the Law School down in the Village. It was short notice. Also present were the NYU grad students who were organizing with the UAW.
It was some fancy scmancy Spain/So. American dictators/Pan American forum. Speaking were Uribe "president" of Columbia, the x-president of Mexico, someone else and Kissinger and former president of NYU and they all were MCed by the current NYU schmuck. It was a little auditorium that seats about 300 and it had a raised press platform in the rear that was full of foreign press cameras.
I couldn't resist filtering in with the crowd since no one stopped me. I took a seat with some friends I bumped into who also weren't Kissinger fans. You could faintly hear chants of protestors outside through the ballroom windows.
The panel spoke one at a time in Spanish. Most of the crowd was Spanish speaking, conservative and in favor of the panelists. Kissinger was seated to the right so it looked like he was going last. Zzzzzzzzz.
When the butcher was introduced some NYU grad union activists stood up with a big banner about their cause (I could see it entirely) and were yelling about the right to form a union - directed at the Univ. prez. - and got in a shot about inviting "war criminals" to speak at NYU. Then they got invited by several campus cops and secret service detail to visit the lobby. They were whisked away.
Then Henry began a few words of complimets about the state of Columbia & Mexico and that was enough for me! In as big a yelling voice I could muster I shouted "Like ya did in Cambodia? You murderer!" and topical bits like "Why does NYU invite mass murderers to speak here?" and given free reign to pretty mush blast away I continued on the genocide theme and then lit into NYU for hosting mass murderers to speak as I got surrounded and hustled out. No arrest but it felt good making noise at that old fart.
Plus he got the same a few minutes later from one of the activists still inside. It may get foreign press coverage as there was ample freedom inside for them to film the interuptions.

oh -- and he's up to his NECK in the Lord Black scandal and is about to be indicted for bilking rich clients in an insider trading scheme. Good. He belongs on a scaffold!
